    About Me

    I am usually a baker.  A new challenge in my life requires me to bake/cook gluten-free.  It is a fun challenge to try to modify recipes to still taste great while maintaining a gluten-free lifestyle.  You may be assuming that I have Celiacs, but it is someone important in my life that suffers from gluten intolerance.  To protect him I have completely altered my lifestyle to be gluten-free as well.  

    The switch is much more difficult when it comes to baking.  Texture and strange flavors can put a damper on a cookie.  I'm still trying to convert my grandmother's old recipes.  Some appear different visually and taste amazing.  Others, not so much.  I have converted many recipes on here and have had some amazing results.  Those who do not have gluten sensitivity usually have no idea they are eating gluten-free.
