"I found this recipe to be very good however I think the cooking times are a bit off. I'd say cover and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally - my leeks stuck to the pot and burned - and throw in the rice at the 10 minute mark. Once you add in the lemon juice cook for an additional 10-15 minutes. I also sauteed an onion before throwing in the ..."

"Just wanted to clarify, spices are a very large part of the Turkish cuisine - which happens to be one of the most varied and colourful cuisines in the world - and have been so for hundreds of centuries. I find comments that state otherwise comical. "

"These brownies were exactly what I was looking for. Definitely NOT a cakey brownie. One thing I learned the second time I tried making these, do not overcook :S If you by accident do overcook, then do not hazard trying to eat them unless you have very strong teeth :"

"This was the first time I tried my hand at making pizza and I have to say that not only was this dough tasty, it was incredibly easy to make. Exactly what I was looking for. I didn't have any yeast packets so I used 2 and a half tablespoons and it worked out just fine. Thanks for the recipe Gran!"

"Great recipe! I almost didn't ask company if they wanted seconds cause I wanted to keep all leftovers for myself! I used 23-24oz of cream cheese, and added the juice of one lemon. I baked it with a hot water bath (I had no cracks. I also substituted cherries for strawberries and it still turned out wonderful. Thank you MUCHLY! :D"

"Wow YUM :I roasted 2 chickens instead of one because I had a lot of company. I used a deeper pan for extra veggies and adjusted the cooktime to 1 hour and 25-30 min. I also added more garlic cause I love roasted garlic. It turned out great and of course *I* got all the compliments! Thanks Lennie!!"

"Well I read all the reviews and was waiting to be knocked of my feet. It wasn't bad, but I just felt like the taste of peanut butter overpowered the taste of tomatoes. But I did finish the whole slice. Thanks for an easy snack recipe:"

"Oh Ann! Wow great recipe. My dough was a little too gooey to make into a ball so I added a bit more flour and when it was still not manageable I put the dough into the freezer for about 5-7 minutes and only then was I able to make a ball and cut them up. They still turned out great:*tip: they expand a bit so leave at least 2cm between each scone."

"Living in Turkey for the past 11 months I've have been devoid of many things that I grew up loving. One of those being Chocolate Chip Cookies I began my hunt for a yummy recipe to share with everyone here and to show them what they'd been missing. The only problem is that they don't have semi-sweet chocolate chips here so I bought a couple of bars..."

"This is a great soup! my mother made it all the time when we were kids. If you want to jazz it up a bit, try taking any kind of bread, cutting it up into little cubes and sauteeing them in a goodly amount of butter in a large wok/frying pan...once they are crispy and well toasted, sprinkle them over the soup! I personally use crumbled feta cheese ..."
