    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

My favorite cookbook is Fanny Farmer. I have my grandmothers copy too, over 60 years old, then it was called Boston Cooking School Cookbook. My pet peeve is great sounding recipes that are made with condensed soup. 99% of the canned soups contain MSG (I get migraine headaches from Monosodium Glutamate, Disodium Insonate etc.) I substitute my own stock and flour, cornstarch or potatoes, whatever works.

    Favorite Foods

My favorite food is shrimp! Cold with horseradish cocktail sauce nice & spicy. Or, shrimp cooked in butter, garlic & a little nutmeg. Yum! My husband and kids love my chicken pot pie, with tarragon & mushrooms in it, I just like cutting out leaves or other shapes from the dough and
    seeing how it bakes-up.
