"Want a real treat using this olive oil...try it in an olive oil coffee cake recipe...it adds another layer of flavor without being overpowering...it's fantastic...much more economical to make this at home instead of purchasing from the gourmet store and just as good if not better...thanks"

"I agree with marinating the steak before grilling or oven roasting. To improve or intensify flavor use a meat tenderizing tool and pierce meat all over, combine dry ingredients increasing salt to 1TBS, pepper to 1/2 TBS, brown sugar to 2TBS. Rub this into the meat as you would a dry rub on pork. Place in a large zip lock bag add the crushed garlic ..."

"For those of you willing to try this again or for the 1st time here are some suggested changes to improve flavor:
Roast vegetables, apple and whole garlic cloves along with roast and trimmings. This will infuse the gravy base with a richer flavor during cooking. For added texture separate and puree the rosted vegs, apple, & garlic with broth unt ..."

" First let me say I agree with Shirley. When cooking a recipe is a guideline. It takes creativity and ingenuity to make it your own. Sorry, but something "null" seems to lack, based on the number of negative posts left by this individual.
    Try the following for better dumplings/noodles: 2c flour,1T baking powder, 1tsp salt, 2 eggs, 3/4 to ..."

"This is NOT a Bobby Flay recipe. With a few changes this becomes a very good tasting grilled chicken.
Use 2 one gallon zip lock bags. Into each bag pour 11/2 c. of good tequilla, (not an inferior quality tequilla1/2 c. of olive oil, zest and juice of 5 lemons (using a total of 10 lemons between bags,1 tsp salt ,1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper, ..."

"Those of you who rated this on the low side, stating it was "BLAND", may want to try again following these suggestions: Many reviews mentioned the cost of this dish, so to cut the cost use 2 1/2 bags of shredded Italian Cheese Blend i.e. Sargento or Kraft and use a good quality bacon in place of the pancetta. If your sauce doesn't thicken up with ..."
