"I don't feel right rating this recipe because I have been making it for a long time. Only difference is that I use white vinegar and add salt and pepper. On occasion I have subbed toasted, sliced almonds or pine nuts and it is still really good. It is a wonderful recipe and a family favorite in our house. Took it to a potluck recently and it was ..."

"This chicken was absolutely delicious! Made it exactly as the recipe says and it was soooooo good. DH loved it and so did I. Wonderful, simple chicken dish. I would not hesitate to serve this to guests. It looked as good as it smelled. We had it with a mixed rice blend and cabbage ramen salad and sliced tomatoes. Thank you Barb. I know this..."

"Delicious cookies! I made this recipe this afternoon and halved it. Wish I had made the entire recipe because I doubt they will last the day. DH is a real cookie fan and he says they are terrific - just the kind of cookie he likes. I made them without the spices because we like the taste of sugar cookies. This recipe is very simple to make - ..."

"These were fantastic. Followed the recipe exactly and it was perfect. I wouldn't change anything. I couldn't help myself and finished the last 2 while I was cleaning up after dinner, so no leftovers. Great recipe which I will add to my ever increasing veggie recipes. Thanks."

"I was surprised that this sauce was fairly good. I used it with whole wheat macaroni and it looked like the real thing. Not being a vegan, I guess I am used to and really like the taste of cheese. I eat mostly meatless though, and will use this recipe again but perhaps in a different way. The color from the carrots is very attractive so this s..."

"I'm really sorry, but I was disappointed in these cookies. The recipe looks like it would be good, but the flavor just wasn't there for our taste. I don't like to give a low review, but I won't make these again. "

"Bravo! I'm always looking for new vegetable dishes and this one is superb. I eat meat sparingly, so love to have a variety of veg recipes. The only thing I did differently was to omit the water chestnuts - just a personal preference - added more celery instead. Even my husband who isn't a big veggie fan liked it. It would make a nice side dish ..."

"This recipe is very easy to make. I used pumpkin pie spice, about 1/2 tsp., as well as toasted pecans. The recipe made 4 small loaves so was able to share it. The house smelled wonderful while it was baking - could hardly wait to try it and was not disappointed. I'll surely make this again soon. Thanks!"

"Thank you, Mae West for a really excellent recipe! I made this cake for a family get together and it was a hit. Besides looking so appetizing (I used a maple flavored butter cream icing, it couldn't be easier to make. Followed the recipe to a T and it was perfect. Thanks again! "

"WOW! What a great flavor combination! This is a terrific recipe. It was a big hit in our house today. The only thing I did differently was to skimp on the sugar a little (I usually do, used about 1/4 cup chocolate chips less, and added vanilla. Instead of muffins, I made 2 small loaves. They are absolutely delicious and the smell while baki..."
