"Wonderful flavor. Nice light appetizer. I used brie, but will try camembert or a bit more cheese for more flavor next time. I agree that chilling before cutting would work better. I made it for Valentine%u2019s Day, and slices can be very easily shaped to a heart. I couldn%u2019t figure out how the onions wouldn%u2019t just fall out of the d..."

"We call this "crackaroni" because it is so addictive. I use 8 oz each of Velveeta, sour cream and cottage cheese because it's just easier to remember. I also use bowtie pasta. I find it does best with the cheese sauce. The recipe I was given did not have breadcrumbs on the top. Either way, you can't go wrong with this yummalicious comfort food!"

"Try as I might, I could not screw up this recipe! I was making a large batch for my office luncheon and thought I had 3 cups of sweet potatoes. Mixed the flour, salt and baking powder, then discovered I only had just 2 cups of sweet potatoes. Nothing to do but press forward. The biscuits were so light and fluffy! In addition, I misread the recipe ..."

"The first time I made these cookies, they were terrible! I attribute this to my using unsalted butter and to some extent, the instructions. The second time I used regular (salted butter. Be sure it is well-melted! With no other "liquids" you need super soft butter to hold things together. Also, I had only used 1/4 c. of sugar the first time. The ..."

"This recipe took me 1.5 hr to prep and bake, not the 35 minutes stated in the recipe. That also did not include the cooling time for the ganache. No substitute for heavy cream in the ganache; it will not whip up. (I only had 1 cup of cream and tried to use half and half, not thinking. It would be best to make the ganache first, due to cooling ..."

"Nice, simple recipe for couscous. Liked the light, acidic taste. Made it with Creamy Baked Salmon as recommended by I'mPat, but did not think the flavors went well together (although both were wonderful as separate dishes. Will try a "cleaner" fish next time: broiled or grilled."

"This was a real crowd pleaser. Comments started pouring in from the first bite. I made sure the onions were almost done before adding the garlic. Seems the garlic overcooks if I add them at the same time. I used canned diced tomatoes, so didn't simmer as long as suggested. I used half and half and fresh basil. The salmon was incredibly tender. I..."

"What a wonderful soup! I worried when I added all that spinach, but it quickly cooks down and what's left is as promised: a hearty meatless soup (I needed a Lenten soup, not vegetarian. Tasted great with and without the cream--I actually used half 'n' half, which I added to the pot before serving, not as a garnish, since this was a large church..."

"Yum, yummer, yummest! Made this for a pound cake topping. I was wonderfully surprised that I could use brown sugar for this sauce. All who had it raved! It reminded me of made from scratch chocolate pudding. Super creamy! Did not have Dutch-processed cocoa, so added a little baking soda to my non-alkalized cocoa per a cooking site's instru..."

Reviewed Crock Pot Cream of Mushroom Soup
    Handle
     |  By Olha

"Preparation was not difficult, but the sauce broke while heating in the crockpot. I had to strain out the mushrooms and use my immersion blender to smooth things out. Perhaps adding the cream just before serving would have helped. I liked the sour cream flavor, but there was too much of a residual flour taste."
