"Made with the following changes:subbed fusili for the egg noodlesomitted the celery (had none)Miracle Whip for the mayofrozen mixed veggies for the peas/carrots& added a splash of lemon juice. The whole family loved it - probably the tastiest tuna casserole I've ever made. Thank you!"
"Excellent! I had some leftover pumpkin to use up, so the amount I put in was more like 1 cup instead of 3/4. Also, the recipe didn't say whether or not to grease the pan, but I did spray it with some cooking spray, which was probably a good idea. It didn't taste very pumpkin-y, but turned out very moist with good flavour. Thanks for sharing!"
"Made this last weekend to take camping. Did it in a pot on the stove instead of the slow-cooker; cooked it up before we left, cooled it, and then re-heated it over the campfire. Everyone loved it. Made the following changes: doubled the recipe (needed to feed 5 hungry adults, 1 toddler & 2 dogs), added 1/2 a red pepper (just because I wanted to..."
"Yummy! I think this would make great Christmas gifts. I used the whole tbsp of ginger; it sort of gives the aroma of ginger snap cookies. I also used the full tsp of baking soda and didn't have a problem with it foaming too much (maybe my baking soda was a little on the old side, so it didn't react as much as it would have if it were fresh?)."
"I thought this was really good - quick, simple, and I had all the ingredients handy. I added a few diced carrots in with the onion, (just for some extra colour and nutrition), and served it over rice. Will make again, thanks for posting!"
"Good weeknight dessert for the family. I've made it using different flavour combinations of jello (raspberry/strawberry, lime/orange-pineapple - basically whatever I had on hand). I've also made it with prepared Dream Whip when I didn't have Cool Whip, and it turned out just fine. Easy and yummy!"
"This was okay, not necessarily what I would consider a traditional brownie, more like a cocoa bar cookie. Flavour was pretty good, but they didn't have that gooey brownie texture. One positive, they weren't super-sweet like some other low-fat brownie recipes. Bottom line: decent low-fat treat, but definitely not a substitute for the "real thin..."
"I haven't made this exact recipe, but the one I use looks pretty much identical (no olives though). I really like it, it's different from regular rice and not really that much more difficult. My husband complained that it's too lemon-y, but I thought it was just right."
"This is excellent! I have a crabapple tree in my backyard and was looking for an interesting way to use up the harvest, and since I'd wanted to try a pepper jelly as well, this recipe was perfect! The idea was to give these as Christmas gifts, but it was so good that it unfortunately didn't last long enough... although I did serve a couple jars ..."
"Yesss! If I didn't find this recipe on here I was going to post it myself... this was one of my favourite weeknight meals that my mom would make for our family. The title is a little deceiving, it's a lot more like Hamburger Helper than chili. But quick, easy, and yummy!"
