"I made these for the first time on Thanksgiving '10 and since then (today is 27 Feb, I have made them probably 10 times. I use them for everything from dinner rolls to French dip sandwiches. Of course they are best right out of the oven with butter, but we all knew that, right? ;-
*Sorry! I just realized I never actually gave these a ra..."

"I loved this recipe, as did the rest of my family. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is for our tastes, there was WAY too much onion...I doubled the recipe and only used a total of 4 onions instead of 6 and even with that there was a strong onion taste instead of the onion enhancing the beef. Next time, I'll only use half the onion called f..."

"My family LOVES this recipe. I found it a couple of years ago and now we refuse to use anything else. We use sugar and everything else stays the same. Here is a tip for anyone who has not figured it out (this may be in other reviews, I didn't check: if you let it boil for close to 30 minutes or so instead of the 10, as it cools it will gel up lik..."

"I made these for my kids and their friends after a slumber party so I tripled the recipe. I only made one change and that was to use a 1:1 ratio of plain yogurt in place of the butter/margarine. I don't know if that was the reason or not, but I had no issues with batter thickness like so many others did. It ended up being like cake batter and got ..."

"My husband, who really dislikes almost all seafood and I have been trying to eat more healthily and this is one of the recipes used for that goal. I have made it twice so far, the first time as written and then tonight with a few minor changes: Instead of just paprika I also used Old Bay and I added the zest of the lemon to the sauce and then thic..."

"This was REALLY good, although I won't say it tastes like Manwich since I actually really dislike sloppy joes normally. I was out of tomato sauce so I subbed enough fresh pureed romas to make it up and added a pinch of sugar for the acid. I also added about twice the called for garlic, and will probably cut the salt in half next time. Great recipe..."

"This is soooo good! I will say that the dough is very hard to work with and that I normally have to add more flour at the end than the recipe states. Also, I agree that it isn't quite the same sweetness as the store kind but after adding about 2-3tbsp of honey to the dough, it was spot on. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!"

"I was expecting a lot more from this dish. After following the recipe exactly, it didn't taste like anything. Once I added, a dash of red wine, the juice of 1.5 limes and lots more chili powder and cumin and a good amount of cilantro, it tasted really good."

"Let me just start by saying that I normally have to ask my husband if he likes a new recipe, but this time he volunteered the information within 3 bites. We did decide that it needs a little heat so next time I will add some red pepper flakes. I had to use veggie oil instead of peanut/safflower , and I used a half/half ratio of soy sauce and water..."

"These were very good! I used them in recipe #103799, and good as that was, the noodles is what I wanted more of. My only question is the proper method and time of storing them..."
