"These are awesome - quick, easy and scrumptious. A great soft blast of chocolate with a nice chewy texture. And the best thing is that my egg allergic child can eat them (and they are not a pain to whip up like most other eggless treats."

We're in the midst of a major snowstorm, I have homemade chicken soup & needed a quick bread to go with it - being French-Canadian, we have plenty of beer (and it's Canadian! so this was tres facile pour preparation! Merci!! My family loved it - will double next time and maybe add a little cheddar..."

"Great recipe - I have made a kazillion biscuit recipes and I found this one easypeasy with great results. I always use butter milk in place of milk so I get more complex results - highly recommend it... Next time I will add cheese or fresh herbs to the flour before combining with wet ingredients - I might also sub half wholewheat flour to pump up..."
