    "Turned out a little too bready, not enough flat. That may have been in part because we didn't poke the holes in. I added garam masala and thyme for flavor and it was wonderful."

    "The aroma had the entire house swooning. The taste didn't disappoint. I used a different variety of lentils, even though the dish is called Kali for the black lentils, and it was fine. I had to omit cream at the end but that also was fine. This was by far the easiest Indian dish I've made to date. Once again, food processor saves the day."

    "The wonderful aroma got everyone is the house waiting by the oven for it to finish. I made a few modifications. Instead of reserving the cooking liquid, I used red wine. I also added come thyme and cumin for flavor. The texture was perfect, springy and dense. The salt ratio seems fine to me."
