"I thought it very good. I followed the recipe exactly except for substituting 12oz of evaporated milk and 12 oz of 1% milk for the half and half. I added additional 1% milk to cover the mix in the Corningware casserole dishs. The next time I think I will increase the amount of milk slightly or decrease the amount of flour and bake an additional 1..."

"Excellent scalloped potato recipe. I used only 1/4 lb ham and think the recipe would not suffer one bit with out any ham at all. I am preparing the dish for the second time."

"Ingredients of this recipe suggested that the flavor & texture of the loaf would be lacking and sweetness of the topping overwhelming. But because meatloaf is a favorite dish of mine the 5 star rating given this recipe challenged me to try it. I cut the sugar for the topping by a third. "The best tamale pie I have eaten. I baked it as a casserole dish in the microwave oven and it came out just fine. I froze individual 6 oz. servings in the freezer and reheated them in the microwave. I am preparing it again now for the second time but am making the portions bigger."

"I liked the texture and flavor of the loaf. Not the very best I've eaten, but it's right up at the top. I will keep this recipe and prepare it again."

"I made this dish once using shrimp and later beef. I have made it regularly ever since, freezing portions, then reheating them in the microwave in their plastic containers as a breakfast entree or snack. I find it convenient, fast, nutritious and tasty. Add a piece of fruit and you have a good breakfast. -Freeman Price-"
