"I made this last night and it was very tasty. I did not drain the beans to make it a bit more saucy and then added a can of diced tomatoes. My mixture looked a lot more green than in the picture though I though I was actually a little short on the amount of chard. I'm not rating it since I didn't make it exactly as stated, but all the ad..."

"Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. I used bacon grease to brown, cooked in an enameled dutch oven, and thickened with flour. Served with roasted carrots and sweet potatoes."

"It was ok. I didn't feel like the flavors really melded in the cooking. I did carefully choose the ranch mix and it was not overly salty - the ranch DIP mix has almost 2x the sodium of the ranch DRESSING mix"

"This is our family recipe for the holidays too. My mom still has the magazine page she cut out in 1978. Our version uses 1C fresh cranberries instead of whole cranberry sauce, but is otherwise the same.

"Excellent flavor, the whole family enjoyed it. I did add mushrooms with the onions. I served it over egg noodles and my only complaint is that the sauce was not thick enough for our liking. I think it would be a great consistency over mashed potatoes, but it just didn't stick to the noodles. I will double the cornstarch next time - but there will ..."

"My family really enjoyed these! I used old fashioned oats and soaked them about 20min. I also added a dash of cinnamon and vanilla. I can see that these would be very versatile muffins. I can't wait to try them with a little carrot added."

"Made them this morning with the help of a 4yo. They turned out great! I used the yogurt option... but I only had greek yogurt and worried that it wouldn't be wet enough to soften the oats, so I did water down my yogurt with milk just to reach typical yogurt consistency. I added the softened oats to the wet ingredients before combining with the dry."

"Excellent! I baked them and just simmered them briefly as I was short on time. The meatballs were great and my 2 and 4yo ate them. My sauce would have been improved by a longer simmering, but I have trouble imagining the meatballs would get better!"
