"Absolutely perfect! Simply and hearty with a little bit of a soft pretzel-y crust on top. (I like to sprinkle a little salt on top before I bake it to make it even more like a soft pretzel."

"OH. MY. WORD. These are perfect--just the right amount of sweetness and cinnamon! FYI, I doubled the batch and mixed them up with my KitchenAid. It worked well as long as I coarsely cut up the butter, then threw it in with the dry ingredients and pretended the beater was a pastry blender. Perfect."

"Excellent recipe. I've made it several times. I've even thrown in a few extra veggies (celery, cucumber, etc and made the sauce into pasta salad. Actually, I think the sauce would make good Italian dressing, too.
Very versatile and good!"

"Amazing. I've never had Oyako Donburi before (I was a little hesitant about something non-breakfasty with eggs poured on top, but I'll definitely add it to my regular menu now. I may even make just the sauce sometime--it would be great on stir-fries. Thank you, Hey Jude."

"I have never been able to make a successful pot of chicken and dumplings before trying this recipe. The broth was flavorful enough (although I did add more liquid and some garlic and cayenne, but what really did it for me was the inclusion of the word 'simmer' at the step where you add the dumplings. This may be common sense for veteran chicken a..."

"I love this recipe. It's chewy on the inside with a crispy skin on the outside. The only problem I have with it is it calls for way too much salt for my taste. I usually use half as much as it calls for (but then again, my family doesn't eat much salt, so maybe I just have a low tolerance for it.
Still, incredible recipe."

"These are some of the best rolls I have ever eaten, much less made. They mix up quickly--especially if I run the ingredients through the dough cycle on my bread machine. And the consistency, the yeast-y flavor that is missing from other biscuit recipes, the little bit of sweetness...heaven! I can't wait to make the dough into cinnamon rolls like o..."

"I've never had microwave mug cake before, so I can't really judge. But as far as a general cake recipe goes, I would not try this again. It was bland, gummy on the bottom and clumpy elsewhere. I threw most of it out. Sorry."

"This was very good. I added some stir fried celery, bell peppers, onions and garlic along with some celery soup sauce on top to give the cakes a little more oomph, but I'm sure they would have been good without the additions, too. The recipe reminds me of a cross between crab cakes and the Irish potato 'biscuits' I grew up on. I'll definitely be m..."

"A little too spicy for my tastes, but otherwise excellent and a lot quicker to make than I would have thought.
Update:
This has become my husband's favorite way of eating pork. I use pork chops because that's what's on sale a lot and throw in some sweet potatoes like another reviewer suggested. He can't get enough of it."
