"A couple of notes for this.
First, Newer and older Crock Pot cook SO differently. I have 2. I can cook the same meal in both, and almost 3 hrs different in cooking time. Newer pots and MUCH hotter. So don't blame the time.
Second, it doesn't call for water, so DON'T add it. Crock pots don..."

"It is just divine!
I have made this several time, but forgot to post a review. The first time, I added mushroom; because I had to use a few up.
The second time, made as is.
This time. NO peas, I was out, but I added some broth as the cabbage cooked. Also, the broth really got soaked up by the noodles which I liked. I als..."

"Well, why I am not sure my review I posted didn't show I don't know.
It was excellent. Well received and ate every last bite. For me, I used a mix of monterey jack and white cheddar along with the cream cheese.
Second, to the marinade, I did add some red pepper flakes (a personal preference for some heat and fresh basil to the marina..."

"First Delicious!
Very moist tender, falling apart goodness. Now, I knew I wasn't going to eat the skin, so I didn't care. It made it for sandwiches and for leftovers in the freezer. But it would be equally good for dinner; the skin just didn't that golden brown crisp which I like. But I knew it wouldn't.
The seasoning was good, b..."

"Quick and easy dip. Very nice. Served with blanched baby new potatoes, cauliflower, veggies, some crackers, pita, etc. It was very good.
I did add a little sour cream to the dip for a little extra punch; but, I tried it before adding it and it was just as good.
That was just my change, but not necessary. Good as is. Nice simple dip. ..."

"I planned to tweak this; but I didn't. I just added a bit more apples, but kept everything else the same. Delish and what an easy recipe. Gave some to a couple of friends as a Xmas gift; and had the rest served warm with a fresh cheese platter at my party. It was delish with fresh cheeses, breads, crackers, grapes, and pears. Everyone loved it. Al..."

"I admit to making this last year, but just now getting around to reviewing it. So sorry; I just forgot I had made it.
First, I never had a loosemeat sandwich; so therefore, I had nothing to compare it to. For me, it was ground beef with a tangy mustard. Nothing special. BUT, for my friends who grew up with it ... they LOVED IT. They said,..."

"The base of this recipe is very nice. A couple of minor changes.
I did dice my bacon up first, and sauteed with the onion, and plenty of garlic; I also added a pinch of red pepper flakes, because pumpkin can be very bland.
The addition of the wine was very nice, but after tasting I still needed some extra flavor for my tastes. I added..."
