"Thanks Tara! I used garlic powder, black pepper, and dried minced onion instead of the packet. I didn't want uncontrolled sodium, msg, soy, or other unnecessary chemicals. I used coconut oil, and Romano cheese since that is made from sheeps milk, which is less processed than cows milk. Turned out great!"

"This bread was fantastic. I was excited about this recipe because my older son can only eat spelt, so I am constantly on the lookout for spelt friendly recipes with exact measurements. I also keep brown rice flour in my pantry, so that was convenient. Here is what I did. I used coconut oil instead of butter because my sons and I cannot tolerate pa..."

"Fantastic! I used veganaise, and skipped the cheese. I only used basil because I don't like Italian seasoning, and added a touch of sea salt. Baked them on a stone. Put a little warm tomato sauce on each one out of the oven. Love it!
This time (07/25/10 I tried it with organic corn meal/flour to make it gluten free for my son. He real..."

"These were a hit with my family. My 7 and 9 year old boys love them. I didn't eat them, because I do not eat meat. I used ground turkey instead of ground beef, and oat bran instead of bread crumbs. I also added some carrot puree for an added health benefit. I would've added freshly ground flaxseed, but my grinder just broke over the weekend :( I a..."

"I thought that this was really good. My parents and kids liked it. I added 2 tsp of vanilla, used pumpkin pie spice instead of allspice, added two tsps of fresh ground flaxseed, used 1/2 cup of coconut oil (I don't ingest canola oil, 1/2 cup of applesauce, and chopped pecans. I baked 24 cupcakes for 25 minutes on 350 F."

"Turned out great! I see it s modification of your muffin recipe canthelmyself. I use that every Monday by the way : I used just cocoa powder. For my son's birthday party I am going to add vegan chocolate chips. Yesterday I used this to make carob muffins. I added carob powder and chips. I'm wondering if adding a little avocado would make it mois..."

"These are really good. We used all dates, I don't have dried cherries, and I don't like cherries. They were a bit oily due to the walnuts I suppose. It reminded me more of fudge than brownies. I used carob and honey. Agave affects our bodies just like high frustose corn syrup."

"These are fantastic! Worked great in my waffle iron. Some recipes don't work as pancakes and waffles. The first time that I made them I used freshly pureed pumpkin instead of banana, some pumpkin pie spice, skipped the egg, and threw in a tbsp some freshly ground flaxseed and 3 tbsp of filtered water. I have used banana ever since though. Both way..."

"I thought that this was really good. I made a few substitutions to make it clean and vegan. I used organic vegetable broth, 5 organic red potatoes & left the skin on, organic coconut oil for butter, one organic onion for a leek since I didn't have any, brown rice flour for all purpose white, 3 garlic cloves, organic dried parsley, and unsweetened ..."

"Delicious, the only thing I did add though was some vegetable broth instead of the soymilk. I skipped the seasoning salt, Italian seasoning, and cayenne. We're pretty simple over here with kids. I used red potatoes and left the skin on them. Thanks so much!"
