"I used a entire bag of frozen whole green beans, and it came out great. That amount of red pepper flakes leaves your lips just slightly tingling, so if you're more of a mild-type person, I'd use half the amount of flakes and then allow those eating to spice to taste if desired. Will be making this again, maybe next time with broccoli."

"Simple and oh, so delicious, if not that healthy for you. I needed to use up some buttermilk, and this was a quick and delicious recipe. I didn't use nuts in the recipe, and when I made a second loaf, I sifted the dry ingredients before adding them to the wet because the cocoa especially liked to clump. The bread is moderately dense, enough to s..."

"My modifications: ONLY 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 cup whole wheat flour, and plain yogurt instead of the buttermilk. This bread is very rich and tasty. I don't miss the other cup of sugar at all! It has a good flavor, and would probably look nice, but I forgot it and let it cool overnight, so now I can't detach it from my bun..."

"I get funny looks when I tell people that it's "Banana Banana Bread," but that's exactly what it is! I used six medium bananas total when I made the bread, half of them from the freezer. The bread is very, very moist, and the banana-flavor is marvelously pronounced. It's not a great slicing bread, but I think it'd work well as muffins. I hope ..."

"I think I'm making this my official taco seasoning recipe. Made it tonight and put a whole batch of it into a pound of ground beef. Made for some mighty find tacos!"

"These weren't bad, but they weren't as good as I had hoped. They were messy but easy and fun to make. I cut my chicken breasts into strips, but one container of sour cream was still plenty, and I used up the leftover potato chips like I wanted. I used regular flavored store-brand ruffled chips, and I too found that they weren't as crispy as I m..."

"I really wanted to like this, but it ended up being un-exciting. I left out the raisins due to personal preference, and I used an entire can of chicken broth, and I upped the spices slightly to compensate, but it maybe wasn't enough. The end product had a lovely texture and fragrance, but served over couscous, it just didn't have the spicy flavo..."

"I used a whole egg and left out the mushrooms, but the recipe was easy and tasted quite good. I think next time I might find a gravy recipe from scratch as the jar sauce was too salty. Can anyone tell me what the milk does to this recipe?"

"I baked at 375 degrees per a few of the comments, and the cookies came out just fine. They will burn fast, though, as I learned when my timer malfunctioned. I also had to double the cinnamon and sugar for rolling the dough in, as I ran out halfway through."

"Rich and tasty muffins, though I made a few alterations. I used half whole wheat/half all purpose flour, only 1 cup of brown sugar, 12 ounce bag of frozen cranberries chopped in a mini-chopper, 6 ounces of chopped pecans, and I added 2 tablespoons of cinnamon to the dry ingredients. I like the flavor, though I will cut at least 4 Tbsp of butter f..."
