"I love quinoa and I love it even more when it has lemon. For some reason, I found the amount of marjoram and thyme to be a bit overwhelming. I kept picking up a bitter flavor. This recipe is simple and healthy though, so I will tweak the spices and be making this again soon. Oh, my 2yo loved it and kept claiming it was rice and asked for more two ..."

"What to do with an over abundance of beautiful summer squash from the garden? Make these muffins! I'll admit I was a little freaked out at first, but when I took the first bite my taste buds danced. Kinda reminded me of a corn muffin but softer and more moist. I followed the recipe exactly. Glad the applesauce substitution was made because I have ..."

"We love lemony rice around here and this recipe fit the bill. The directions for cooking were perfect. The only change I made was to add more lemon juice and zest from one lemon right before serving. I used Veggie Better Than Bullion and like another reviewer mentioned, it looked a little dirty because the broth is so dark. No matter, it was still..."

"I had to improvise a bit due to ingredient shortage, but I followed the recipe for the most part. I loved the lightness that the lemon treatment on the pita added. Yum! I thought I wouldn't like the pita to be crispy but it balanced out the textures of the rest of the dish really nicely. I am a fan! Delightful! This was filling enough for a meal t..."

"These reminded me of Indian Potato Parathas I used to buy at my local farmer's market. I really love the color and the flavor. These were easy to assemble, too. Nice and savory, I found I needed a little extra salt. I used tortillas and fried them in light oil. I might consider adding peas to these next time. Yum!

"How very interesting! I was really impressed with the different dimensions of flavors. Sadly, I didn't have any almonds, but everything else came together really nicely. I loaded up on the black pepper to balance out the sweetness. Served over spinach. Would be a great picnic salad, great for a luncheon, for do as I did and enjoy as a light dinner..."

"Rustic! Yes!
Beautiful presentation, loved heating up the pan before baking, something I've never done before.
The flavor was amazing, and as promised, somehow nutty. It tasted great served warm with a bit of butter and honey. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars was how dry and crumbly mine bread turned out. How do I fix this? ..."

"What is wrong with me?!? I should have doubled...no...tripled this recipe!
At first I doubted the addition of fennel. Fennel in applesauce? But me oh my what a lovely accent to this healthy delight. I didn't have star anise but after looking online I found that fennel can be a sub. So, more fennel. I might ease up on the orange juice concentra..."

"I've never even tasted risotto, so I really didn't know what I was in for! Met and exceeded expectations. Extra veggie broth instead of the wine :( Didn't have any handy...Buy your aborio rice in bulk, some stores try to charge an arm and a leg for packaged rice. Tagged for September Veggie Swap '11."

"I have never been the greatest crepe maker, but this recipe turns my plain old crepes into something really special! What a perfect dessert for guests or just the family. I halved the recipe and it made exactly 6 crepes with the perfect amount of sauce. I would be even more decadent with some fresh whipped cream. Oh! Yum! I'm so glad these came my..."
