"I used this for the "cooked chicken" in a chicken pot pie recipe. The chicken was moist and flavorful from the broth and bay leaves. I even used boneless, skinless breasts and did everything as the recipe suggested. Perhaps for boneless, skinless it would have been better to cook covered, but it turned out fine. Thanks! I will use this often."

"This is exactly what I was looking for! At first the cornstarch turned me off a bit so I continued searching for another recipe, but since none was to be found I tried this one. And it turned out perfect! I drizzled it over vanilla ice cream and topped with ground pecans and crushed graham crackers for a key lime pie-like dessert. Very limey, ..."

"I loved the flavor of this and so did everyone I served it to. (It was a good meal to bring to our friends who just had a baby. Mine did not turn out creamy, but more brothy and you couldn't really detect the cheese. I'm not sure if it's because I used too much milk or the whole spelt flour. I'm sure it could be tweaked, and besides it was fi..."

"LOVE it...moist but not wet, different with the addition of apples and just delicious. I cut the sugar almost by half and used all regular (unbleached sugar since I didn't have brown. I doubled the bananas which added natural sweetness. I doubled the recipe and cooked half in a loaf pan, half in a bundt pan. I would check them before an hour ..."

"Delicious! I brought this as an appetizer to a New Year's Eve party and many people commented on the sauce. It has a ton of flavor! I actually used the sauce as a dip (adding crushed red peppers to the recipe and served it with blanched broccoli and deep fried tofu (recipe #101937. This would be awesome as a pasta dish too. Yum, thanks so m..."

"This was great! I added crushed peppers to the dry marinade. The tofu could have been served on its own, but I put it on a plate with blanched broccoli and served it with the peanut butter sauce from #119671 as a dip. It was well received as an appetizer at a friend's New Year's Eve party. I recommend squeezing the tofu out using the instructi..."

"We were really happy with these. I used Spelt flour and natural cane sugar so they were the color of light gingerbread. I left the dough in the fridge for about 45 min. Maybe it was not long enough, or maybe it was the unrefined ingredients that I used, but they did not lift up very easily after cutting the shapes out. No problem though, we ju..."

"This is a fantabulous recipe. We are living the life right now in Prague and within 5 minutes (and $7!!!, I had gathered all the ingredients from the market and bakery downstairs. I used fresh baked bread and I think when using bakery bread (or any bread maybe that just the bottom layer of bread is enough. My DH usually has a critique or two ..."

"As BigRedChef said - great base recipe. Up the onions if they are mild. I had some leftover organic brown rice and all the ingredients (I topped it with diced tomato to throw together a meal for my toddler. To my delight he took bite after bite exclaiming "more! more!" This is how fried rice should be - super easy, few ingredients, no headac..."

"Wow! Delicious! This is like something I would come up with (and then I would retire from life, feeling I had accomplished enough ; My family and I are living in Prague for a few months and my quest for the ingredients spanned our first month here. I finally finished the list, finding a grater (although I gave up on the cinnamon and vanilla e..."
