"This recipe is amazing! I had found it in Gourmet Mag, written it down, then lost it! I'm so happy to find it again. If you love salt and vinegar potato chips, you will love this recipe. And its lack of mayo makes it outdoor picnic friendly."

"Tried this for the first time this evening, which also marked my first foray into mixed drinks (I'm a wine drinker for the most part. We enjoyed these while we waited for the barbeque to finish. I figure by the time we finish the bottle of pisco, I'll get the hang of the whole shaker thing. But they were tasty."

"Discovered late this evening that I didn't have a packet of taco seasoning for the crock-pot taco soup I am making tomorrow morning for tomorrow evening's dinner. I love that you can find any recipe on food.com, even for spice blends. I have made several Kittencal recipes that are super yummy, so I trust that this taco seasoning mix will..."

"Made this tonight for dinner after I poached a skin-on, bone-in split chicken breast to use for the chicken. It made more than two cups. Quick and easy--the best kind of recipe. I didn't use jalapeno and only put in a scant 1/8 tsp of cayenne, but it still had a mild kick. It got the thumbs up from the kids and from me. Yummy."

"Kittencal has the best recipes. I made this for a family potluck and doubled the recipe. I made it as written. It was a big hit. I think the next time I make it, however, I will decrease the almonds. We ended up with most of the almonds in the bottom of the bowl."

"My hubby and I really loved this soup. I put in a ton of spinach that I needed to use up, and used turkey meatballs instead of sausage. I also put in mushrooms. My husband said it was the best soup that I had ever made."

"Delicious! What an amazing stew! So simple, so easy. My hubby and son had two helping each tonight. I made it mostly as written, substituting home-made turkey stock for the water and I used boneless leg of lamb as the meat. I started too late in the day yesterday to have it for dinner last night, so I baked without doing the final broiling ste..."

"Delicious! I made this salad to take to a friend's house for a party. Like other reviewers, I made a whole cup of quinoa so the salad would be more grain-y than black bean-y. I didn't rinse or toast the quinoa--seemed like too much work. I did use half of a de-seeded and de-membraned jalapeno pepper. I also used a can of drained diced tomatoes,..."

"These are delicious cookies, with or without icing. I made the cookies mostly as directed, but did sub a teaspoon of nutmeg for one of the teaspoons of cinnamon. I also struggled with the icing a bit. Mine turned out dark brown, and I ended up adding another half cup of milk to get it spreadable. It still tastes great."

"Amazingly delicious! We have a new indoor electric fryer and we've been trying out various items in it. These shrimp have been one of the best things we've done so far. We used panko breadcrumbs, but made the batter as directed."
