    "Yummy! Made it with chicken thighs (pre-browned and cooked it in the oven with the lid on - lots of sauce to eat with rice! Left out the red pepper flakes. My 6 year old daughter said it was the most delicious dinner she had ever tasted and had fourths! She usually has a small appetite..."

    "Works perfectly! I'd double the ingredients next time to make much more....No trouble with over-foaming like other reviewers of hokey pokey/cinder toffee - but then again I used a tall sided pan. Found silicone paper ideal for lining the tray."

    "Just bagging them up for presents before I eat them all... Absolutely delicious! I added 1tsp black pepper and 4 Tbsp golden syrup (makes them crackled on top, but so moreish! I found that I needed to add lots more flour."
