"These are great cookies! I almost skipped this recipe because it makes 15 cookies. I didn't want giant cookies so I made them smaller and got about 30 cookies. These spread out as they bake - they are not thick cookies. Baked in 12 minutes. I didn't butter the baking sheet, but I let them cool about 30 seconds and then removed to the wire rack an..."

"I recently bought a used copy of this cookbook and was happy to see this recipe posted. I made this on Saturday and was pleased with the flavor. This is not a sweet bread. In fact, my husband and I were only aware of the mild flavor of pineapple and raisins in this bread. I used the 'Tropical Medley' blend of dried fruit that is sold in the stores..."

"I made this last night for my husband, brother-in-law and his wife. It was very moist and tasty. I added 1/4 lb. mild Italian sausage, omitted the salt and forgot to add the topping of ketchup - oops. My brother-in-law & sister-in-law BOTH asked for the recipe so that is a very high compliment.
Thank you for sharing this recipe."

"Picked fresh blackberries over the weekend. I made this last night (my first Blackberry Cobbler. I thought it would be too thin when baked so I baked it in a 7" X 12" Pyrex casserole dish, next time I will use a 9" X 13" as stated.
Great flavor and very easy to make. Next time I will reduce the sugar for the blackberries to 1/2 cup as I tho..."

"I increased the garlic to two cloves. Don't skimp on the ginger, it truly adds to the flavor. I have made this twice with salmon steaks (baked at 350 for 15 minutes and once with a beef steak. I marinated it for a couple of hours. It was great for both.
    Thank you Chili Spice."

"I have made this rice dish twice. The first time I used low sodium chicken broth, unsalted butter (both on hand and minced the onion and celery. Baked it in a casserole dish with a lid. It came out a bit dry and needed salt. Comparing the results w/another Zaar member, it should not have been dry.
Last night I made it again using regular ..."

"How absolutely simple this was to make. . .served it over pasta. . ..Great flavor. I used beef stew meat, one onion, reduced the wine by 1/4 cup and cooked on low for 7 hours. Because of the reviews, I cut the beef into smaller pieces and reduced the wine slightly. If you use flour instead of cornstarch, you may need a bit more flour to thicke..."

"I made this last night using fresh, steamed broccoli. I increased the onion to 2 tablespoons, used 1/4 cup light mayonnaise & 3/4 cup regular mayonnaise & added some pepper. This was a firm, not runny dish. It was baked in a 9" X 9" Pyrex dish & I would say it makes 6 to 8 servings for a regular meal. It would yield 12 servings at a holiday meal..."

"Made this last night with both breasts and thighs to compare them. This can probably be made with tortilla chips. I now have a partial box of taco shells to use. The tomatoes in the salsa won't stick to the chicken, so next time I'll use picante sauce. I threw away about 1/2 of the dipping salsa. Flavor was very good for both white and dark meat...."
