"Re-read the instrucions, LibbyD, you disgard the salty brine BEFORE you grill the chicken. The salt merely tenderises and adds moisture to the meat."

"School Cooker, I think you'll find the pith is what is causing the bitterness. I make a very similar lemonade, but I peel the skin off the lemons with a potato peeler as thinly as possible, then peel the white pith off the lemon and disgard it. Then shove everything in the blender and continue."

"Made this last night, felt like something hot and hearty and I chose this recipe for it's ease and simple, easy to find ingredients. Added 1/2 tsp sugar to balance the acidity. I was not disappointed and will make this again. Thankyou Tebo for sharing this."

"What delicate wee morsels these are. At last, mussel fritters that aren't like small, windowless buildings. Super easy, super taste, ingredients are spot on. I didn't have any basil, not overly fond of it anyway, so just added a good handful of flat leaf parsley. Mussels are cheap here and out of 2 dozen I got 8 fritters, a pot of mussel chowd..."

"This sounds scrummy and has the potential to become one of life's 'comfort' foods. How long will it keep in the fridge?"

"I've read, read and re-read this recipe and for the life of me I'm damned if I can find the vinegar as an ingredient in this dish. I HAVE made this dish several times, and was beginning to think I'd lost the plot somewhere, I couldn't EVER remember putting vinegar in it. I've made a few substitutions because it IS a very forgiving recipe, but vi..."

"This is also a great product to spray on carpets or rugs if you have cats and dogs...makes vacuuming up pet hair so much easier. And, if you spray it onto furniture, it takes away that 'doggy' smell. And...yes, there's more...if you find synthetic clothing becoming 'clingy', a quick spray will have things back to normal. and...it's way, way cheape..."

"He he he...you can get away with anything these days. We were given 6 cans of corned beef, DH swears, vows and declares his absolute dislike for corned beef with a passion. So...I put these potatoes together for an easy Sunday night supper, with a nice fresh salad. After the potatoes were assembled, I sprinkled the grated cheese on top and gril..."

"Made this to take to BBQ last weekend. I ususally make my Hot Curry Dip, but, being a seafood lover.... In a word DELICIOUS. Two words, delicious and EASY. I didn't have any cayenne pepper so used 1 tablespoon of Thai Sweet Chilli sauce and instead of canned crab meat..hellishly expensive here, i used mock crabmeat, surimi. It can't have been..."

"What a wee Godsend this recipe is. I made the sauce as given, then popped slices of ham into it and simmered them together for a few minutes. Necessity is the mother of invention when DH buys a HUGE ham...'cos it was cheap...for 2 people for Christmas. Served the hot ham and sauce with salad and chunks of French loaf. Easy, delicious, forgivin..."
