"The flavor of these pickles are A-1 for sure! The recipe would have received five stars, but the directions are lacking. The submitter gave no indication of yield except for 32 servings, and without a "serving size," it's hard to estimate the final yield. I roughly doubled the recipe because I had quite a few pickles come in from the garden. T..."

"While the instructions were crystal clear, the cooking time was much longer than the 20 minutes indicated. Further, the dish was overly sweet. I enjoy the taste of scallops and the sugar covered the scallop taste completely. It should enhance, not overpower. I will not make this particular recipe again. I will look for another one. "

"Great recipe!! I didn't use the second tablespoon of salt and also added one hot pepper and two shakes of Tabasco Sauce to the batch as it was cooking. I didn't need to add the Tabasco! It's right on the edge of being too hot...which is perfect!! I love the combination of hot, sweet, tangy. Thanks for posting this!!!"

"Took these to a Christmas party yesterday and they were the first appetizer to disappear!! Everyone loved them. I also mixed the dressing in with the Philly (and I used 1/3 reduced fat and low sodium dressing and then sprinkled a bit of paprika on top for the red/green color. Pretty AND tasty! I will definitely make these again!"

"Mine came out very hard and bland. I followed the recipe to a 't' and served it for Thanksgiving. I ended up throwing away more than half of it. I'm not sure what I could even have done to the recipe to save it. Sorry...."
