    "Great Mango chutney! I used white vinegar and I think it will be even better with a "softer" vinegar. Any suggestions? I'll also cook it down a little thicker next time, even though it's still nice runny."

    "This is great! I added lots (3pts of water while it cooked for 2 hours. Doubling the quantities I found it took at least an hour or 1.5hrs of chopping prep - I prefer chopped fine as per the original. I also added cornflour at the end to thicken - in hindsight probably a mistake as the final result is not as "juicy" as I'd like. Next time I int..."

    "Given how different the ingredients are fromthe original I was surprised at how close to the original this tastes and looks. I added some tamarind paste and some worcestershire sauce and a cup of water to prevent it sticking. I only had 5 cups of vinegar and it definately needs more - may up it to 7 next time, and also double the cayenne, otherwis..."

    "After reading the ingredients of HP sauce I added 1 cup pitted dates and 1 Tblspoon Tamarind puree. I also added half as much again of worcestershire sauce.
