"Thank you Wicked Cook 46. This is my Mom's recipe and I remember when she made this for the family of 7. We all just ate it up and is one of my favorite comfort foods. I was looking for a recipe without the rice and with the beans in it. So glad you posted it. Even though it such an easy recipe. Frostyprecious"

"If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. ! stars, this is so good. But I will say, I made it with baked potatoes and that is what made it so good. Who would havew thought! I did use1 pint of heavy cream and 1 cup of half and half and the rest 1% milk. It did turn out thick and creamy and not for the "light" hearted crowd. I also used 1..."

"I made this tonight for dinnerand had to write the review immediately. It was delicious. I followed the recipe other than I added 16 oz of beef broth. That could be why my sauce was too thin. I did use 1 Tbsp of cornstarch and also used a 1/2 cup of potato water to thicken it. Was much better. DSO said he didn't think it was spicy enough, I ..."

"My daughter made this for a brunch and I enjoyed it. She gave me the recipe to take home. It took me awhile before I decided to make it. I remember I wasn't too pleased with the sliced french bread...so i cubed my french bread and followed the directions as stated in the recipe. "These are easy to make, but the most work is rolling them into balls. It worked well using my cookie scoop and then rolling into balls as the first batch was in the oven. So delicious just out of the oven and cooled a bit. Yummy. DSO says these are great! Thanks Christine for a great recipe."

"I have been making this for years also. Good comfort food. I alternate the layers of pasta (I use egg noodles corned beef, cheese and peas or corn (I add veggies, and pour part of the mushroom/chicken soup mixture over the layer. I also top with cheese about 10 minutes before it is done in the oven. Delicious but not a diet food."

"I have not tried this recipe yet, but i found one extremely similar in my newspaper. It is a little different in using crisp prosciutto on top when completed and also using vegetables. Actually Brussel sprouts quartered and 1 firm tart apple peeled and diced, or you can use asparagus trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces and 1/2 cup oil-packed sli..."

"Great dish, goes on the menu rotation, I love comfort food. Even SO loved and wants it again. I did have a little trouble with the potatoes not getting soft, I had taken some out of the pan and realized the potaoes were not done. Tried to microwave, didn't work. Moved the potatoes into the sauce where I had taken out the meat and back into the..."

"This was so great, fell apart tender. Will use less pepper next time, maybe my pepper was too fresh, was just too much for us. Also only used 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Actually the gravy was the spicy part, not the chicken itself. DH does not like spicy foods. He did love this chicken. The flavors from the spices carry well with the chicken...."
