"This was very delicious. I used 1 cup of barley and 5 cups of vegetable broth. I also added chopped carrots in with the onions. I forgot the cheese and it still turned out great."

"I bet you could put the noodles in uncooked. I cooked mine half way before placing them in the crockpot and they came out pretty mushy. Good and easy. Next time I am going to put in some garlic salt and cook my meat in taco seasoning."

"I used whole wheat flour and they turned out great. Make sure you take them out of the water right when they start floating or they will be soggy (as I found out with my first batch. After I boiled them I browned them in a pan with some EVOO and sea salt. Mmmmmmm."
