"Muy excellente! I did half brown/half white rice and instead of water I used chicken broth. I used 3 cups of broth in place of the 1 cup of water. I added an Anaheim pepper and half of a small red onion. Very tasty and easy."

"This was a great side dish. I would be even better with the bacon that Zurie suggested. You could even cook the onion in the bacon grease. That would make it 5 stars!"

"I bet you could put the noodles in uncooked. I cooked mine half way before placing them in the crockpot and they came out pretty mushy. Good and easy. Next time I am going to put in some garlic salt and cook my meat in taco seasoning."

"I used whole wheat flour and they turned out great. Make sure you take them out of the water right when they start floating or they will be soggy (as I found out with my first batch). After I boiled them I browned them in a pan with some EVOO and sea salt. Mmmmmmm."
