"Minus the raisins/currants this is exactly the same as the one we have used for 30 years. Mom started making bannock on a stick when we camped at the local lake at home. We have all grown up but now my brother camps there and makes it for his kids. We head off on our family fishing trip on Saturday and the dry mix is made and going with us for m..."

"This is my mom's exact recipe...they have been a family favorite for years given to her by a neighbor lady. Mom makes them and freezes them for a fast lunch or she makes them at harvest to take out to the field. They are excellent to stick into my kids lunch, they love them cold too."

"Made a batch last week...they are gone. I love soft chocolate chip cookies and these are definately some of the best. I used 1/2 and 1/2 white and semi sweet chocolate chips. I used my small cookie scoop to get smaller cookies in hopes they lasted longer but they just ate more of them at once. Thanks for a great cookie and a keeper!!"

"I doubled the recipe for a 13x9 pan...there is no point making anything small for my vultures. Made them yesterday...they are GONE. I made as directed except that I used almond extract in my glaze instead of vanilla. They fill the craving of cinnamon buns without having to wait for the dough to rise."

"We made these for our New Years Eve supper. First time cooking mussels. We both enjoyed them for something new, the recipe was easy to follow, the only thing I would do differently is up the garlic and maybe my cloves were smaller and I think I would step it up from plain old parsley and add the recommended taragon or something for a bit more fl..."

"These are a must for Xmas. I can't find mint chips here so I used a bit of peppermint oil and dark chocolate wafers. They are addicting, there isnt a little sandwich bag left from the entire box of crackers. Everyone who tries them walks away with several in their hand."

"my mom used the same..butter, cinnamon, sugar but rolls her up like a cinnamon bun...dad has always called them rollerbungers. The 3 of us "kids" still get into them when she makes them...and now get our fingers tapped with the wooden spoon...they are for the grandkids!!"

"After 230 reviews we all know these are excellent cookies. I doubled them for a cookie exchange...I need 3 dozen but thought I would leave some at home...should have hid the 3 dozen first. Now I can start over. I dipped them in red and green sugar. Definately will be making again...today infact."
