Reviewed The Best Chili You Will Ever Taste
    Handle
     |  By AmandaAOates

"We really loved this chilli. I added Guiness , hadn't a can of beef broth so used good quality stock cube, I put slightly less than 1/4 cup of brown sugar so it wouldn't be too sweet and since I hadn't any cocoa was able to sub with best quality dark chocolate. I used 2 chillis which suited our taste- might add another one next time I make it. I ..."

"These went down really well. I cooked them for about 15 mins just in the dressing and pepper, then poured the excess juices into a bowl. I then topped with some parmesan. After about 30mins cooking, I basted with the juices from the bowl then grated a good helping of parmesan to the top. Lovely and crispy. Will make again!"

"This is such an easy and quick and tasty loaf to make. I followed the instructions exactly for the first loaf (using 1/4 cup of butter. That disappeared alongside a pot of chicken broth for dinner. I had a bit of trouble cutting through the crust as it was very crunchy but good. After dinnerI started another loaf but used less sugar & a bit less..."

"What an easy loaf to make. I thought I'd added too much beer as it was quite a 'wet' mixture, but it was perfect. We had it with real butter-- sooooooo good! I brushed the top with a little butter about 10 minutes before taking out of the oven. That gave it a nice crust. Thank you Len, I'll be making this a lot and will try different beers too."

"This is a fantastic recipe which I'll be making over & over again!(already have!! I preferred to serve it hot as part of a meal, and made sure that the potato cubes were not too big.I also omitted the bacon ( veggie in the family. I don't feel we missed out on the delicious flavour by not including bacon. Thank you Kittencal."
