"I am the Poster Child for "Not Reading Directions" ... so ... I put everything but the vanilla into the pot all at once (in my defense, though, I was previously reading a recipe where everything went in all at once. I must say this is one of those times where the mistake came out awesome! I doubled the recipe and made a huge ol' po..."

I put paper towels across the top before I put the lid on the crock pot and I'm glad I did. Thank you to the review who suggested that! I took this to a potluck and everyone who tried it was rolling their eyes ..."

"This is a great recipe. It is definitely sweet, so if you like it a little more savory, cut down on the sugar!! I use only cranberries, and leave out the cinnamon (personal preference and I use gluten-free flour blend for the flour. They come out WONDERFUL!!!"
