"I always thought you used some lemon juice in the glaze that went over the cake, but the recipes I've seen for this, I didn't notice adding extra lemon juice to the cake part. Still amazingly moist and refreshing for s summer treat. Try with lemon sorbet or sherbet, too."

"This was so simple to make and my chocoholic sons really liked the oreo cookie crust. I made my own whipping cream from heavy cream and sugar and beat until almost stiff. I also made this into three layers by putting 1/2 of the thickened dark chocolate pudding down into the crust first; then I mixed 1/2 of the whipping cream into the remaining..."

"I don't think I will be needing to go to Olive Garden any time soon! This is fantastic! I used mild ground italian sausage fried/cooked on the stove with the onions. No 'real' garlic on hand, so I used 1/2 tsp. garlic powder in place of it. Also, I made a mistake and used half-n-half instead of cream, but it was still perfect. DH even said 'great ..."

"Very good flavor! I followed the recipe exactly, however only ended up with maybe one very strong flavored serving. So....I added 1 1/4 cup more half and half which made 4 servings. The only other thing that I added for our own family's preference was 2 teaspoons of 'McCormick' Garlic Bread Sprinkle (which is a combination of Romano cheese and G..."

"In order to make the cookies easier to shape into balls, I used my Pampered Chef cookie dough scoop (pressing the dough in tightly, and using the thumb spring to release the dough onto the cookie sheet and left them flat on the bottom. When they were done, I used a metal pancake turner to take them off of the pan (about 5 at a time and put them..."

"Just made this for a New Year's Eve 'get-together'. Needless to say, there wasn't any left to bring home! The only changes I made to the recipe was using two cans of refried beans (one jalepeno and the other salsa flavored mixed with 3/4 cup of our favorite salsa for Layer One; and then, 1/2 cup sour cream (MINUS adding the mayo and taco season..."

"May I suggest putting the potatoes into the microwave until semi-done before adding other ingredients. I even do this with frozen hash browns when I make 'funeral potatoes' to speed up the cooking time. Thanks for posting. I have not tried making these in the crock pot before."

"I made this recipe today and it was very easy to make. I made it with Milk Chocolate Chips this time, but I think I will stick with Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips in the future because I like a more rich and deep chocolaty flavor. I did note, that even with my candy thermometer that after the mixture comes to a rolling boil, it takes about 5 minutes..."
