"I made this recipe and cooked it less than two hours on high (stirring every half hour or so. It burned so badly during that last half hour that we were unable to eat it. I have not known my crockpot to cook especially hot, but this didn't work for us."

"I halved the recipe (just because this isn't something my kids would eat and started with frozen chicken breasts. I cooked it in the crockpot for about five hours and that was long enough. I used summer squash in place of the zucchini- the green would have been prettier, but I used what the garden offered! The flavors were really good, but a l..."

"Yielded a quiche-like consistency, which I liked; however, the dish was really bland. I added extra salt before cooking and again to my plate. I also ended up adding some salsa con queso (which just happened to be open in my fridge to try to jazz it up a little. "Can't beat this for ease of prep! I was feeling lazy and already had diced ham and chicken in my freezer, so I gave this one a whirl. I just stirred everything together and topped with the parmesan. My husband was impressed and I didn't disillusion him that I had worked over it! Will be a repeat performance, I'm sure."

"No stars, because I used orange marmalade. Just wanted to report that the result was way too sweet for our tastes."

"I will start by saying I don't know what straight teriyaki sauce is supposed to taste like, so I can't verify if this is "authentic." That being said, I did really like the flavor and it was super easy to stir together when I realized that I was missing an ingredient for my dinner. Thanks for saving my chicken!"

"This had a good texture and wasn't overly sweet- I will be having some for breakfast with my coffee! My only change was the addition of a little cinnamon, which I always tend to throw in desserts. Good use for some of my blackberry abundance, but the cake would be a good base for any berries or chocolate chips, I would assume."
