"Yum! My husband is leery of trying anything new but, he didn't know I had slipped jicama in other things he liked. :) I doubled the dressing, cut the oranges into small pieces and thinly sliced the radishes. It is really great and a refreshing salad to have on hot days (when we finally get them). My husband wants it again tonight so that..."
"This was way to dry to form into balls. Probably had to add another 1/4 cup of molasses. Sure couldn't flatten them before baking as they would still just fall apart. So cooked for 7 minutes, then flattened them with a spatula and baked another 2 minutes. The flavor is great but, I will find another recipe for next time."
"Yum! I cooked mine a bit longer but, maybe they were thicker than called for. No green onions in house (how weird) so just used minced yellow onion. Rarely add salt to anything and didn't today either. Served mine with sour cream. The DH preferred his just plain. Will definitely make again!"
"Super good! My husband has been diagnosed with borderline diabetes so I have been researching good recipes for him. One thing that kept showing up was oat bran. Found your recipe and was surprised it called for Bisquick. Boy, this is so good! My husband loved them. Only made half a batch. I know if I had made the full amount he would have ea..."
"YUM! This is just like the syrup my Mom raised me with....minus the corn syrup and vanilla.. Boy, do they make a difference! I did not reduce the water for a thicker syrup, followed the recipe. Might reduce it a bit next time and maybe not. I think it is perfect as is. Thank you, Aroostook, for posting! :)"
"These are so good and easy! We all loved them. I, too, baked a bit longer but, that was no big deal. They were tender and flavorful. Will definitely be making them again."
"These were really good. I sauteed apple slice in cinnamon and brown sugar and poured over the top of the waffles.... hubby's request. Could use a bit more flour as I thought the batter was a bit too thin. Still a very good recipe and I will make again. May even grate the apples next time"
"YUM! My husband and I really enjoyed this. Especially with the Roma tomatoes we grew. I look forward to making this again. Served with wild rice and a delicious Acorn squash."
"The meat mixture is a 5 star. Though I subbed dried cranberries instead of raisins. Just what I had on hand and I prefer them. The rest of the directions are terrible. How big are the dough cutouts? 35 pieces? You are kidding me! I used a glass 2 1/2" in diameter and got 15. Takes way longer than 5 minutes to simmer out all of the liq..."
