"Used a cookie recipe of my own instead of a premade, and added mint bits to the dough and dark chocolate chips to the cream cheese mixture. Was absolutely to die for! Thanks so much for sharing!"

"Made jam thumbprints with these, DH definitely adored them! Took me 23 minutes to bake, and I added 1/2c white sugar to the dough, and another tsp of vanilla. The longer cook time might be because of a difference in oven; but I waited till the cookies were very lightly gold. Will definitely make again!"

"I made this last night and it was utterly delicious! I did do some changes, which I think helped the resulting cake. I grated the apples (I used four smallish green ones and instead of 1 cup of veg oil, I reduced it to 2/3c and put in 1 cup of milk. I also increased the amount of vanilla to 1 tbsp, and the cinnamon to 3 tsp. Eaten warm, it remind..."

"I LOOOOVE this cake, it's so easy and delicious. I do add a few extras, like cinnamon, and a touch of brandy or rum, and I dissolve a tablespoon of instant coffee powder in with the wet ingredients. I sift all the dry ingredients together; this helsp in making sure that the baking soda is not clumpy. Best as a loaf; and I've even served it up as 1..."

"I made this last week to sell at my office and it was a hit! Totally sold out! These are incredibly chewy cookies, and have a perfect taste. I omitted the nuts as they're too expensive here, reduced the oatmeal to half the recommended amount (as I doubt it would have fit my stand mixer's bowl! and as I didn't have a blender, I did not blend th..."

"Very, very good! Mom was giddy for it while it was baking. We didn't put the loaves into loaf pans, but I will do that next time. Minor adjustments: I needed to add about another 3/4c-1c flour because the dough was just too sticky to work with. Added 2 additional cups of raisins, a teaspoon of vanilla to the egg, and added an instant mocha coffee ..."

"I made this ages ago and was looking for it since I'm absolutely craving chocolate cake and cannot afford to buy. This was delicious and satisfied cravings. The only changes I made was adding about a heaping tablespoon of instant coffee powder into the liquid ingredients before mixing it into the dry ingredients (I like my coffee taste a bit stron..."
