"By itself, the loaf is decent, and adding mushroom gravy really made it wonderful. Thanks!"

"We marinated rib eye steaks in this for about four hours before grilling. We used a pale ale instead of bock. Rib eye steaks don't need marinating to make them tender, so this was more about getting some flavor from the marinade. They tasted great - thanks for posting!"

"I needed to use up a bunch of leftover assorted cheese slices from a party platter, so I gave this a try. It was delicious and creamy even though I cut back the fat considerably. (note the nutrition facts of 900 calories, 35g of sat fat and 945 mg sodium yikes!! I used 4 cups of 1% milk, 2T butter and 4T Olive oil. Also used less cheese as I ..."

"Awesome!! This was sooooo delicious. I made it for four of us using 6 slices of pre-sliced sourdough bread in a 10 X 15 glass pan with 1 1/2 c milk and 2 eggs for the batter. For the greens I cooked two bunches of swiss chard and tossed with a bit of Italian dressing, as I thought cooked greens might be good with this. I made two poached eggs pe..."

"Delicious and moist! I used applesauce instead of the oil and reduced the sugar to 1 1/2 cups. It was still sinfully delicious two days later. My family thought zucchini cake sounded like a crazy way to ruin a cake - but they loved it!! (And I found another way to use up my zucchini Don't make it to get your vegetables though, since there's les..."

"This was delicious! The sauce was very flavorful. I did add 1/4 t salt and used part red wine and part water. Thanks for posting a beef stroganoff recipe that doesn't call for a can of mushroom soup or some other canned soup with added MSG and all sorts of nasty stuff. It's amazing that most recipes rely on canned soup. I'll be making this again..."

"Made this with chicken for meat eaters and Quorn faux chicken for veggies. It used a tbs or so of fresh ginger root. Nice sauce - thanks!"

"These are nice - I wanted something different to do with tofu. I like the crisp breading. Even DH liked them. I only made one package of tofu, so I cut the recipe down. I did run out of bread crumbs - maybe I didn't measure right. Thanks for posting!"

"I liked this as a main dish salad. I'm not fond of tarragon, so I left it out. I also used equal rice/lentil proportions for more protein. The fruit goes nicely with lentils and rice and makes for a tasty combination. Made for vegetarian recipe swap."

"This made a fabulous lunch. Much better than tuna salad in my opinion. I actually didn't chop the beans as I was just eating it from a bowl. The only change I made was to add some finely chopped red pepper - and I didn't add the nori. It was attractive as well as delicious. Made for March 2009 Vegetarian Swap."
