I did make two chages - for the sugars, I used 1/2 cup light brown sugar, 1/4 cup dark brown, and 3/4 cup white - personal preferance. I also used 1/2 TBSP vanilla, rather than 1 TSP. The cinnamon was a unique and subtle touch, t..."

"Excellent recipe - I have never made any changes, and I wouldn't want to! Everyone in my household loves it : It is never dry, has just the right amount of sweetness, and doesn't have that nasty grittiness that sometimes occurs when there is too much cornmeal, and not enough flour. This is my go to recipe for cornbread!"

I also used a sprinkle of Natures Seasons seasoning at the table. Lovely.. I will be taking the leftovers to work, and will make again for my DH soon :"
