"Just the recipe I was looking for! All we had in the pantry that I was in the mood for was pumpkin and penne, but inspiration failed, and I turned to 'zaar. I roasted 3/4 of a butternut pumpkin (to retain a nice rich flavour and then followed recipe pretty much as written. Subbed garlic salt as had no stock powder, and added two cloves of garlic..."

"Recreated this cake exactly as written. Took 1 hr 30 mins in my oven, and was a perfectly formed thing of golden beauty as it emerged. I did the freezer step, and will next time do it without just to see if there is a difference. The cake was dense, and an even texture all over. I had not actually made a cake in the rectangular pan, usually hav..."

"Thanks for posting - found your recipe in a search for ricotta and spinach and eggs, all that we had in the house for Friday dinner!!Lovely and simple, made this with premade puff pastry. Didn't have parmesan OR mozarella, so just used 1C of plain old block cheese. Added an extra egg and a diced red capsicum as it was to stand alone as a main me..."

"This dessert had a beautiful, velvety texture, and was not too rich, nor too sweet. I appreciated the clear, step by step instructions, and was pleased I didn't miss any out! Served 8 in champage glasses after a large meal, and was just right for a sweet finish. I used about 3/4C of pudding for the chocolate bottom, and garnished with belgian c..."

"Great, simple recipe that we all enjoyed. I hope you don't mind, we renamed them 'mermaid rocks' for my DS, nearly 3. Made using 425g can pink salmon, half a box of 'Jatz' sesame and garlic crackers, two spring onions and a dash of fresh parsley, along with two eggs. Fried with mixture of butter and rice bran oil - served with raw mushroom sala..."

"Used fresh cooked pumpkin that I had left over from night before, and didn't have allspice, but made recipe otherwise unchanged. DH is a non-banana man, and found the banana taste a bit much, I think next time I'd also enjoy it more with half as much banana. A delicious recipe, definite comfort food. Imagine being able to put condensed milk in y..."

"Made the recipe just as described, used waxy potatoes. I find it odd having butter measured using cups - maybe that's a Kiwi thing? I think ounces or Tbs would be easier. I blended half of the mixture and added back into pot just before serving, and didn't bother with any cheese, it's delish as is! Served with Lemonade Cheese Scones with Cumin. ..."

"Omitted the chillis and ginger (didn't have any, used Thai Red Curry Paste, a tin of crushed tomatoes instead of two fresh ones, and added a tin of coconut cream, 'coz I'm inclined to make things more creamy!! Would have been fine without, but was trying to make it go a bit further for leftovers.Just superb, my non-veg, anti-chickpea hubby says..."
