"This was very simple to make. I did mix potatoes with main ingredients before putting them in the pan and topping with the additional cheese and bacon. I had a ton of potatoes from the garden so I made up 4 13x9 pans of them. When completely cooled in fridge, I bagged up in quart-sized freezer bags and froze the rest. We just had some last nigh..."

"I had to re-rate this because I reheated some for supper tonight. I added quite a few carmelized onions to the dish and my hubby said it was fabulous! Thanks again, Denise"

"I'm absolutely thrilled how this turned out! It was so easy to put together! The only thing I did different was sub 4 tbsp unsalted butter for the margarine. Magnifique! Thank you, Manda! "

"Absolutely superb combination! I used just a regular pastry shell, prebaked and cooled, and whipped up 2 pkgs of dream whip per directions since I didn't have any heavy cream on hand. I also added the coconut into the filling. What a fantastic creamy pie! It filled up the pie shell for a nice deep pie. Thanks a heap for this recipe!"

"This is definitely a keeper! I made some variations, however it would be great just as is. I added extra veggies, especially onions, since we absolutely love 'em... and cooked them in chicken broth. I added the uncooked slices of kielbasa after about 10 minutes of simmering time, added a 12 oz can of v8 juice and a can of drained rotella tomato..."

"Thought I'd try something really different for hubby's birthday cake. He said it was terrific, but a little too rich-tasting. I had added a tsp of vanilla.. perhaps next time I'll add coconut extract instead, as the pineapple taste pretty much overpowered the pie. It set up beautifully in about 3 hrs. Also put it in a regular pie crust rather ..."

"This was the easiest pie crust ever! However, 425 seemed to be a bit too hot. I had set the timer for 15 mins, normally would be checking periodically, but forgot about it... and the edges burned. Next time I'll try at 400 with a tbsp or 2 less of oil, as others have suggested. Thanks for the superb time-saver recipe!"

"Rate at 10 stars because hubby who has always said he didn't like muffins, said these were "to die for"! They were perfectly moist and full of flavor. I used frozen raspberries, used lemon peel in place of the orange zest and used Watkins vanilla nut extract rather than plain vanilla. These are awesome!! Thanks a heap for this recipe!"

"I fixed this almost as is for the first time. Hubby and I both loved it! Oops, I did fold in the entire 2 cups whipping cream and that made it too creamy, so will try 1 to 1-1/2 cups next time. After it set, I just mounted the raspberries all over the top of the pie. It really didn't need to be served with additional whipping cream. Yum!"
