    Reviewed Orange Poppy Seed Cake
    Handle
     |  By Pink Princess

"I made this cake as is except I used orange juice in place of the milk and only used 1/8 cup poppy seeds as I thought it looked enough in the batter. I used a square baking pan which is my preference and the cake came out light and fluffy. The only other change I would make is to add a bit more zest for more orange flavour or add orange icing. Goo..."

    Reviewed French Onion Dip
    Handle
     |  By Chef Nikkisin

"I have rated this five stars for simplicity and ingredients that are able to be kept in the cupboard for last minute use. The dip tastes as good as any other french onion dip that I have tried. I added lemon juice to some of the dip and found that it added a nice tang and the dip was not so creamy tasting. Either way is yum and easy! Thanks for th..."

"I wanted to review two recipes at once so I made French Onion Dip 125528 and put a little aside for tasting. With the remaining mix I added enough milk to get a consistency right for the above recipe (as the dip was thick after standing for a whileand made the recipe as stated. My husband is not keen on creamy dishes but the soup counteracted the..."

"The chicken had a sweet flavour to it, the recipe is quick and easy. The crumbs can be very dry on top if not moistened eg: drizzle melted butter over before cooking, I sprayed mine with cooking oil but I think butter gives a better flavour. This recipe is good if you need a quick meal to go with salad on a hot day."

"I recently made this sauce to go with meatball kebabs. You are right I will never buy bottled sauce again! I used red chilli paste and white sugar, regular onion, chopped finely and did not add the lime leaf. I made half the measure to see if I liked it, next time I will make a full batch! The sauce adds a lovely flavour to lettuce salad as a dres..."

"I made as directed except that I did not have sour cream so I substituted plain yogurt. I used a 20ml tbsp (American measure instead of the Australian 15ml, the mixture was fairly wet and took much longer than 20 - 30 minutes; I cooked it for an hour and put foil on top after about 30 minutes so that the top wouldn't burn. I also added the 1/2 cu..."
