"I've made these as written and they are great (note that they make a bigger batch than many recipes but I now make a few alterations to up the "healthy factor". I use 3/4 C packed brown sugar, whole wheat pastry flour and applesauce in place of the oil. I also measure a little generously with the molasses (black strap because I love it and it'..."

"This was a nice moist coffeecake. I used a bunt pan and just sprayed it with cooking spray and skipped the flour in the pan. It still released from the pan beautifully. I was probably generous on the amount of cranberries since I was using up leftover sauce but it still only took 49 minutes at 350F. I topped it with an orange glaze which was g..."

"I made this to go over a cranberry coffeecake. It was very easy to throw together and had a nice consistency. I have to admit that with the cranberries, it made for a very tangy combination. If I used it for that again I would dilute the orange juice a little but I can see how the more intense orange flavor would go well with many other cakes."

"This was a nice cornbread. I was looking for a little more cornmeal and a little less flour, something kind of rustic. We are quite used to using whole wheat and other whole grains at our house but I could see how this could be a good recipe to try for someone who wants to branch out from a "Jiffy" or white flour recipe. This is not a super moi..."

"These have become a regular for us at the lake cabin during the summer. Both kids and adults love them and the kids can grab them and run off to the dock. I add extras of all the "goodies". I use a 15oz can of corn or about 2 cups of frozen corn, about 1 1/2 cups of cheese and about 8 hot dogs. I always use the turkey franks which might be a littl..."

"I get cravings for this oatmeal! I have made it several times and there's never any leftovers. I have used both rolled oats and quick oats and made it the night before and the morning of. I have never noticed a significant difference in the result of those options. I have to admit that I kind of cringe at the amount of sugar and butter. I hav..."

"Tasty, tender and easy! I followed the recipe except for using 1/2 C whole wheat for part of the flour and excluding the nuts. I must have rolled it a bit thin since I had to use a second pan for the extra ones. I think it would help to have approximate dimensions listed for the rectangle. Next time I'll try using brown sugar for a 'gooier' f..."

"These are soooo decadent! Very rich tasting! You would never guess you were eating a fat-free treat. I've made the vanilla version several times but was glad to find this recipe since my mom spent $18 to buy a dozen of these at Williams Sonoma! I made them for pennies and put them in a gift basket for her for Christmas. She thought they were ..."

"This was very satisfying! It had a savory flavor and went great with a crusty bread. The kids ate it up too! I used the 1 C of whole milk and 1/2 C of evaporated milk instead of whipping cream. It cut down on the fat but still had a good creamy consistency."
