"YUM! Can't decide if it tastes better than it smells. A few variations - used vegetarian sausages - added a couple of zucchinis, chick peas and kidney beans to stretch it further. It tastes great and freezes well - perfect for lunches or a quick dinner. Serves well with brown rice or mashed potato. Thanks for posting an old school favorite!"
"Made this tonight - made a very nice simple meal. I must admit that I combined all ingredients (not cheese) and put in oven with cheese on top. Added a dash of lemon juice. If anything - its a little dry - but this can be easily rectified.
It an honest, easy, simple meal using things just from the cupboard. thanks for posting."

The liquid wasn't thick enough and when mixed with the cream and butter - it didn't improve. The filling leaked through the base and I'm afraid I didn't get any further. I'..."
"Impressive - but fiddly. The mix was too runny to work with and refused to thicken up - until it had about 20 minutes in the fridge (then almost went the other way!).
Would use when at wits end for a gift for someone special who has everything. It tastes great, looks pretty and is relatively easy to put together - but a little to time consumin..."
"Comfort food! I also made a few adjustments - increased the veggies and almost doubled the mushrooms (love them) and didn't bother with a base. It was wonderfully warming and something I will make again when the weather turns cold. Thanks for posting."
