"We cut the flour out of this as well as the Worshire sauce and used low sodium soy sauce. We also had half chicken and half shrimp leftover so we tossed it all together and this ended up being absolutely fabulous! A thin creole/gumbo, but it was light and not a heavy dish at all. A keeper!"

"This was SO amazingly good. Hubby cooked this up and it was devoured... even by the picky kid visiting. We left out the breadcrumbs, oil and salt to cut back. A keeper. The tomato on top really makes a great finish."

"My 9-year-old has an addiction to Panda Express' Orange Chicken. We decided to give this one a shot and it's pretty darn close - in fact, his 7-year-old sister ate this one but won't eat it at the fast food joint, so it must be good. "The first time we tried this, it didn't work out. The rice didn't get tender. The next time, we made the rice in the rice cooker then added a little sauteed time and it came out perfect. We used mixed veggies from the freezer. Very versatile recipe. Can do just about anything to it."
