"I LOVE IT! My family loves it. It is a common shelf sitter in our fridge. I have made several times and forgot to review. I do add minced garlic. I would estimate a teaspoon or better. It also makes a GREAT potatoe topper. I am going to experiment now and use greek yogurt... never hurts to go healthy."
"Although I am not particularily fond of "red sauce" BBQ's when I saw this recipe I had to try! and I did... I went out on a limb and made this for my husband's surprise 50th Birthday Party.. I figured the recipe for 60.. then doubled a single recipe x2 if that makes sense. It was delicious and even better a day later... I didn't use the nutmeg an..."
"Tried this tonight with boneless sirloin chops.... it was very good.... although I had ALOT of bread crumb mixture left... with all chops getting a generous coating. I also pan fried to brown each side and put in glass 9x13 to bake... next time I think I would put a cooling rack underneath.. the bottoms got soggy.... Other than my 'preferences'..."
"I cook ALOT... and tried this tonight... my DH loved it.. I... didn't...to me it lacked flavor... it tasted too floury (if that's a word).. I cooked the rue long enough and used a mix of 1% milk and 1/2 and 1/2....and it seemed to take FOREVER in the oven...... I don't know what I did wrong... maybe I am just used to slice potatoes thinly... smoth..."
"I made this yesterday... its awesome! I make one similiar to this but love the added vegies. I omitted the water chestnuts, seemed wrong in this recipe as you have plenty of other "crunch" added. You could even add some finely diced cauliflower.... I also seeded my cucumber. Will definately make this again. Thanks Shelby Jo.. (that's my dau..."
"Very good! I was looking for something different from my traditional recipe. I used 16 oz immitation crab meat as that was all the "seafood" I had and subbed miracle whip for the mayo. Excellent recipe. I just may add a little more dressing next time, as pasta generally absorbs. Will definately make again.. and again..."
"Excellent! I used the new "Quick cook" Cremette Rotini because they are small... I used Miracle whip instead of the mayo and also chopped and seeded Roma tomatoes, because they are firmer and last longer. I shredded the lettuce very fine and used only 2 cups. It was amazing! THANK YOU for the great recipe!"
"I whipped this up for supper because I was craving it! I doubled it instantly and added just a bit more milk.and some fresh cracked black pepper.. it was AMAZING!! I did it on the stove top and done in no time... Thank you for the wonderful recipe!"
"Very good. First time making them, took them to church for fellowship this morning. Received alot of positive compliments, and actually... they look IDENTICAL to your picture :) Thanks for posting"
"Awesome bars, I added fresh squeezed lemon juice instead of bottled... I also added some yellow food coloring to make it look like lemon... Took them to church for fellowship this morning.. awesome flavor but was hard to get them out of pan to platter w/out looking 'tattered'.... next time maybe will refrigerate them?"
