"This was a different take on salmon. We like the taste of apricot with salmon, and the vinegar gave a nice tang to the dish. The bread crumb and walnut topping added a good texture - but the crumbs remain crumbly and loose because nothing binds them to the nuts. I might try spraying lightly with butter-flavroed spray to hold it together and add a ..."

"Very simple and satisfying meal! By making it with 1 percent milk and "fat free half and half", I ended up with a rich tasting sauce which did not add loads of fat and calories. As we are on a low-fat/sugar/sodium/acid diet, this worked great. It will appear regularly in the dinner rotation!"

"I liked these a lot! Baked them as an accompaniment to a soup supper. As the recipe says -- not sweet. But great texture, very filling, delicious. I used almond milk, btw, and it worked fine. Thanks!"

"I doubled this recipe - cut the fluid by a bit (used 8 c. water rather than 9 and it worked in my 6 qt. oblong West Bend slow cooker. Came out great. I did leave out the dried fruit, which we added at the table (as desired. Plenty left for servings as the week goes on. Thanks for this recipe!"

"I had extra peppers (orange and red on hand, and chicken breast in the freezer - and was tired of the usual stir-fry. This was an excellent solution. Delicious, easy, and the leftovers reheated wonderfully! This is going onto the regular rotation - thanks!"

"Great recipes endure! Tho this is an oldie, I love it, and found it so successful. The chicken was moist, juicy and delicious inside -- crispy and perfect outside. I used a fryer -- they were on sale at a good price - and this recipe is a budget booster! With my leftovers we will have at least one more meal if not two. Thanks!"

"Well, I was skeptical. I thought the vinegar would give a bad flavor to the potatoes and cabbage -- it certainly did not! I added the potatoes with 4 hours to go, cabbage a couple hours later. It was all perfect. I used to just throw the whole mess in together with no additional seasoning - this is my new permanent method! Thanks!"

"Really simple, healthy and delicious! I doubled the recipe, still used the 8x8 pan, and baked for 25 minutes. Yummy without being too sweet, and the leftovers are great at breakfast with Greek yogurt. Served for dessert with fat free half and half. Thanks!"

"I used fat-free Greek yogurt for the base, and it worked great. Used with poached salmon, but I am saving the leftovers to use with other fish. Really enhanced the flavor of the fish. I see this recipe has been up for a long time, but it is still a winner!"
