Reviewed Foolproof, One Bowl Banana Cake
    Handle
     |  (1 person found this helpful) |  By Sarah Chana

"What a great recipe to use when you have some overripe bananas but not a lot of time to prepare a recipe. I made the recipe using one-half regular flour and one-half whole wheat flour, and cooked the batter in muffin tins. The muffins came out moist and delicious, and were an instant hit with my son. I froze half of them, but I don't know how l..."

    Reviewed Impossible Coconut Pie
    Handle
     |  By KelBel

"This is a delicious pie! It firmed up nicely and made its own crust on the bottom. I tried putting a little coconut on top before baking and it looked good, but was too crunchy for me after baking. I didn't like it with the creamy texture of the rest of the pie, so next time I'll skip that. This is one great-tasting pie, KelBel!"

     |  (1 person found this helpful) |  By Kim D.

"Who knew simple could be so delicious!! I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts, as they were what I had on hand, and cut down the cooking time to 30 minutes. They were really moist and had a great flavor. I poured the leftover seasoned butter at the bottom of the pan onto some rice and it was terrific too. This is definitely a keeper -- tha..."

"We really enjoyed this easy -to-make casserole. I made it exactly as directed and it turned out great! However, I used fresh pork sausage which I had in the refrigerator; it was good but I think using the Italian sausage as listed in the recipe will taste even better, so that's the way I'll be making it next time. Thanks for sharing your recipe!"

    Reviewed Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies
    Handle
     |  By Pixie's Kitchen

"I'm a real bacon addict, so I was excited to find this bacon-chocolate chip cookie recipe. The cookies came out nice and moist, and the maple glaze was yummy, but the flavor of the bacon with the cookies wasn't as good as I expected. Even though I had blotted the bacon to get out all the extra fat, the cookies still had an oily taste, and after ..."

    Reviewed Bacon Cheddar Popovers
    Handle
     |  (1 person found this helpful) |  By Jug O'Mud

"These were a delicious change from our standard "plain" popovers. I loved the cheddar cheese flavor and the scallions. Even though I'm a bacon addict, the pieces I crumbled seemed a little big and gave the soft, gooey interior a bit of crunch. I don't prefer that in a popover, so next time I'm going to crumble up the bacon very finely before ad..."

Reviewed Cornish Game Hens With Bacon and Cranberry Sauce
    Handle
     |  (2 people found this helpful) |  By Oolala

"What a spectacular dish! And the taste is too die for -- I made it exactly as written, except that I used fresh mushrooms that I sauteed ahead of time and used twice the amount of bacon. The bacon came out perfectly -- not too soft, and its drippings added such a fantastic flavor to the hens. The sauce was really good too -- there was enough cra..."

"It's great to find a healthy dish that's delicious too. We had it just by itself since we are trying to cut back on meat. It looked so colorful and was full of flavor. I didn't have any turmeric, so I subbed a packet of Sazon Azafran. And since my son doesn't like cilantro or limes, instead of dressing it with them, I just mixed the juice and ..."

"I'm trying to teach my son to cook, and I thought this would be a good recipe for him to try. It turned out great! I did add some minced onion and used 1/2 beef broth and 1/2 water. The Velveeta melted beautifully and gave a wonderful cheesy taste to every bite. It's something we'll be having again -- so easy and so delicious!!!"

"Absolutely delicious -- and so quick and easy to make too. Wonderful for a busy night. I didn't even had to cook any chicken -- I used leftover rotisserie chicken that was part of a chicken dinner meal I purchased the day before at the supermarket. I did sprinkle a little cheddar cheese on top of the individual servings since I had some in the ..."
