"I made this cake today and like another reviewer I used a lemon cake mix. I also use coconut oil instead of vegetable oil. I think lemon and coconut go well together and this turned out great. The cake had just a hint of coconut and was not overpowering the lemon flavor. This is a "kepper"."

"This is my kind of recipe - easy and delicous ! I went with the 3/4 cup of sugar , no sugar added cheerry pie filling and 1/4 cup butter. I'm looking forward to making this with no sugar added apple pie filling. Also made it in an 8 x 8 dish. Thanks for a great, easy and good recipe !"

"This was as good as the other reviewers said it was. I did, however. add about 1/2 cup each of golden raisins and chopped walnuts. I found that it was easier to mix it with my hands than a spoon. Thanks for a great easy recipe."
