"great help. Although my hazelnuts were done after about 5 min (my oven is a bit dodgy though!) I think this is also called blanching hazelnuts.. i found one other instruction on the internet saying to blanch hazelnuts was to boil them but the majority was just as you suggest. - thanks"
"Very nice. Tasty. Easy to prepare as well. I used 1/2 recommended sugar and it was sweet enough for me. If you have an older marrow with tough skin, it may be better to peel the marrow before cooking. However if you leave the skin on and you don't want to eat it, the cooked marrow comes off the skin very easily."
"great social dinner. this was my first ever attempt at fondue, had a couple of (good) friends round and it turned out pretty well. 4 people (2 boys who eat heaps and 2 girls who dont eat much) finished off the whole bowl. followed recipe exactly except as per captain apollo's instructions about adding cornflour to cheese not kirsch. "very easy to make. i didnt have enough walnunts so put them over a quarter of the mixture before it went into the oven, used chocolate chips over another quarter and left the other half plain. I kind of pressed them in slightly. Results: a very sweet slice, i would imagine coconut or dried fruit or any other nut would also work really well. I ..."
"very tasty, everyone loved it. I served it with plain boiled vege, and it went down a treat. made exactly as per recipe except i couldnt find fresh horseradish, so used prepared horseradish, 3 teaspoons gave it a nice 'tang', could add more next time."

To up the vegie content i also put a sliced celery stick,1 grated carrot & a handful of mushrooms in the sauce. With the fresh tomatoes & wine, the sause was quite runny, but still really tasty. I used the oxo & dolimio & it was really good, compli..."
"OK, so i think i shouldnt have made this, i doubled the recipe, & BF gobbled it all up in 2 days!!!...yes, 16 eggs in 2 days! Now it is a regular at BBQ's and everyone loves it, there's never any left, Thanks Bone Man for taking all the best ideas and coming up with a winner"
"this was very nice, popular at the BBQ. i used supermarket mayo/salad dressing, next time i will try it with the "kiwi" homemade version of mayo (once ive figured out how to make it!)"
"So good, no leftovers at all, and it was very easy to make. i wasnt sure what "half & half" or "sweet milk" is, took a punt and used "sweetened condensed milk" - it worked great so must be the right stuff :) this is now on the list of fab favourites!"
