"Pretty good! I used 2% milk and 2% cheese. Had a combo of cheddar and mont. jack cheese.. and a bit of an Italian blend on hand.. so that's what I used. I think the extra sharp would have been even better though...and mac & cheese is all about the quality of cheese.. so I'm sure results vary based on that. Topped with some bread crumbs as well..."

"Nice all around.. but really lacked flavor for me. I think if I increased the garlic by triple it would do the trick. I did add a bit more lemon and it was a bit overpowering.. perhaps that was the problem. Not a bad flavor overall though... just needs some tweeking."

"I really enjoyed this. I used half light mayo and half fat free greek yogurt. I also used walnuts instead of pecans.. but I'm sure they would be great as well. Finally... I used about a half cup of red grapes in place of one of the apples. I wrapped it up in a lettuce leaf for a great dinner! Next time I would increase the green onion and up ..."

"Loved the flavor. I only used an 1/8th cup of butter... with a splash of olive oil... and it was still a bit rich for me. Still... I will make it again and just use less butter. I also made my own blend of "Italian Seasoning" with basil, oregano, and parsley."

"Thought it was nice... but would have liked it a bit thicker (I didn't use the grits to be fair. Next time I would use a hand blender to grind the onion. I also added a pinch of cayanne and a bit of fresh ginger which added a nice zing!"
