"This was moist and tasted great. I used buttermilk and then used half cup of coffee and 1/2 cup boiling water instead of the cup of boiling water. I also used Kittencal's chocolate frosting recipe which was great (for my son's birthday)..but I would love it even more with a whipped cream frosting. It does make over 24 cupcakes though ..."
"Turned out nicely..but I only added less than one Tbsp of salt and they are over-salted for me (and I like salt). Perhaps because I added salt to the boiling water as well?"
"Funny...I liked this way more than the sour cream version that the other reviewer liked. I put the whole batch into one pan...and baked for 65 minutes....or just a tad over that. If you bake til the toothpick comes out clean...the bread will be too dry. I used whole wheat white flour and added walnuts. The chocolate chips are a bit overwhelmi..."
"Thought this was great... I didn't even have time to marinate more than 15 minutes...but it was still tasty. Next time I'll be sure to plan ahead though. I added fresh pineapple the last few minutes on the stove and served over brown rice. Yum!
*made it again and had mango slices with mixed veggies...fantastic...one of my fa..."
"This turned out so yummy! I used coconut oil and a splash of toasted sesame oil for cooking. I also added a pinch of red pepper flakes to give it a tiny bit of heat which was key for me. I also added just a bit of carrot and red bell pepper to the veggie mix and added green onion at the very end. I served this with fried tofu and precooked bro..."
"This turned out great! I picked up Feta crumbles by mistake and so I ended up using that instead of blue cheese and it reminded me of a greek salad. I love blue cheese so I will use that next time.. but it's terrific that way as well. I used McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning on the steak before grilling, used apple cider vinegar in..."
"loved it!!! I doubled everything.. and perhaps eyeballed the amount of greens a bit.. but it was actually WAY way more dressing than needed. Left out just a bit of the honey.. but it turned out perfect. I will make this one again... yum."
"Pretty good! I used 2% milk and 2% cheese. Had a combo of cheddar and mont. jack cheese.. and a bit of an Italian blend on hand.. so that's what I used. I think the extra sharp would have been even better though...and mac & cheese is all about the quality of cheese.. so I'm sure results vary based on that. Topped with some bread crumbs as well..."
"great recipe. I only used 1Tbsp of sugar and about half the butter.. and still turned out great. I always eat these with maple syrup like my French Canadian grandmother used to do. mmm."
