"Made this today and it is sooooo good! I didn't have an apple so I subbed some mandarin oranges. Although I loved the curry powder, it is good without it also. One more change; I didn't have any raisins but I did have a bag of mixed dried berries so I added those in place of the raisins. This is going on permanent rotation. Thanks for yet ano..."

"This is so tasty! Made as written with the exception of substituting cashews for pecans as I did not have pecans and adding a drained can of mandarin oranges. Used leftover rotisserie chicken. This one is going on permanent rotation!"

"chia, this is yummy! Made the marinade as written but used a pork tenderloin because I was only cooking for two. I used my Deni meat tenderizer (love that kitchen gadget and marinated it for about 8 hours. Cooked on the grill 35 - 40 min. Soooo good. I am going to use the marinade on salmon filet next. I just know those flavors will "marry"..."

"Kitten to the rescue once again! I was planning on making the crab with Old English Cheese on English Muffins. Of course, I purchased all the ingredients EXCEPT the Old English Cheese! Grrrr.... Fortunately, I had all of these ingredients on hand and it was a hit! Loved it on the toasted English Muffins - the only change I made. Thanks Kitte..."

"My mom made this as I was growing up, as well. Her special touch was to add a can of drained green beans. When I made it tonight, I added freshly grated cheddar before serving with a green salad. Inexpensive, easy and tasty! Thanks for jogging my memory on this one, CelebrationFL. (OT: I'm in Artisan Park"

"Kittencal - thanks so much for posting this recipe. I am an experienced cook, but I have never been able to master perfect rice. Even with a rice maker, I wasn't happy with the results (too gummy or not done. I had been reduced to running up to the local Chinese take out for my rice. No more! This makes lovely, fluffy rice every time."

"Loved this recipe. I made some minor adjustments based on personal taste. Used half the amount of sardines, added a tablespoon of butter with the olive oil and chopped green onion with the parsley. It was so good...it reminded me of a dish I had in a restaurant on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. They used canned Italian tuna packed in olive oil. N..."

"Kitten, I made these for Christmas Eve dinner for the family. I was a little nervous because we are a "tater" family and I wasn't sure that frozen, pre-made potatoes would go over. I needn't have worried...nobody guessed that I hadn't slaved over them that day. A real keeper I will make again and again!"

"Shazzie, I made this for a dinner party we had before Christmas. In a word: winner! I served it with the sherried cream sauce and my guests loved the taste. I loved that I could freeze ahead and have an elegant and tasty dinner for 10 without the last minute stress. My only change: a little less tarragon because I am not a huge fan and I cho..."

"Wow! The family just loved this dish. I made a couple of additions; I marinated the chicken breasts in lemon juice for a couple of hours before coating with the spice blend (including cayenne pepper. I doubled the sauce ingredients so we would have enough to put over rice. Right at the end, I added chopped fresh parsley and chives. Got rave..."
