"Made this today and it is sooooo good! I didn't have an apple so I subbed some mandarin oranges. Although I loved the curry powder, it is good without it also. One more change; I didn't have any raisins but I did have a bag of mixed dried berries so I added those in place of the raisins. This is going on permanent rotation. Thanks for yet ano..."

"chia, this is yummy! Made the marinade as written but used a pork tenderloin because I was only cooking for two. I used my Deni meat tenderizer (love that kitchen gadget and marinated it for about 8 hours. Cooked on the grill 35 - 40 min. Soooo good. I am going to use the marinade on salmon filet next. I just know those flavors will "marry"..."

"Kitten to the rescue once again! I was planning on making the crab with Old English Cheese on English Muffins. Of course, I purchased all the ingredients EXCEPT the Old English Cheese! Grrrr.... Fortunately, I had all of these ingredients on hand and it was a hit! Loved it on the toasted English Muffins - the only change I made. Thanks Kitte..."

"My mom made this as I was growing up, as well. Her special touch was to add a can of drained green beans. When I made it tonight, I added freshly grated cheddar before serving with a green salad. Inexpensive, easy and tasty! Thanks for jogging my memory on this one, CelebrationFL. "Kittencal - thanks so much for posting this recipe. I am an experienced cook, but I have never been able to master perfect rice. Even with a rice maker, I wasn't happy with the results (too gummy or not done. I had been reduced to running up to the local Chinese take out for my rice. No more! This makes lovely, fluffy rice every time."

"Loved this recipe. I made some minor adjustments based on personal taste. Used half the amount of sardines, added a tablespoon of butter with the olive oil and chopped green onion with the parsley. It was so good...it reminded me of a dish I had in a restaurant on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. They used canned Italian tuna packed in olive oil. N..."

"Kitten, I made these for Christmas Eve dinner for the family. I was a little nervous because we are a "tater" family and I wasn't sure that frozen, pre-made potatoes would go over. I needn't have worried...nobody guessed that I hadn't slaved over them that day. A real keeper I will make again and again!"
