"Fantastic! Creamy and not too sweet, has a wonderful and subtle egg flavor. Very easy to prepare, I added 2 Tbsp of sugar, no raisins, 1 tsp of vanilla extract instead of half a tsp and I added 1 Tspn of Amaretto when stirring in the butter and vanilla. I served it with ground cinnamon. Delicious!"

"Very nice recipe, I didn't have any honey so I used maple syrup instead, they weren't as sweet as I expected, I think next time I'll serve them as a side dish with either pork or chicken."

"Delicious and easy! I cut each plantain in half and then lengthwise into four strips. I sprayed each strip with plenty of oil on both sides as per other reviewers' suggestions and baked them for 15 minutes turning them once. Excellent and easy, healthier and not as messy as frying them in a skillet."

"Wow! The flavor is phenomenal! I used ciabatta bread and asiago cheese, smoked bacon and I left out the butter/margarine. Also, I toasted the bread with the cheese instead of grilling it. Simply delicious!"

The rest of the recipe I followed to a "T". Highl..."

"Outstanding! Delicious and easy to make. I increased the cayenne pepper fivefold and also added crushed red pepper. Next time I'll reduce the water by half in order to achieve a creamier consistency. Excellent recipe!"

"Delicious! I charred mine a bit (on purpose under the broiler which makes them a little more flavorful in my opinion. They're very easy make, I baked mine for only 30 minutes, the same as "Uncle Bill", and broiled them at the beginning and at the very end for about 3 minutes and they turned out great! The next time I make them I'll add a bit more..."
