"Great basic recipe for beginners. Throw in whatever veggies you have laying around (spinach, mushrooms, whatever your taste). I'd suggest cooking noodles separately when ready to serve cause they suck up all the liquid. Stock (sodium free) is more flavorful than broth. Otherwise, easy peasy!"
"This is the best recipe I've gotten on zar or food.com, whatever. I love riccota, dill, lemon, phyllo, spinach... Thanks so much for perfection!"
"Great recipe! DH loved it and he's a picky bird. I cooked it in a crock pot 4 hours on high, using a chuck roast (cheap!). Yum, thanx for posting."
"Scrumtious! I've been roasting my chickens for months using this recipe and forgot to rate. The best flavor and so moist. Thanx so much for this recipe."
"These were perfect! DH loves his hotwings and beer but is laid up and can't get out to his favorite pub. Never made these before but wanted to give him a treat.. He said best he ever tasted. These and a 6 pack = heaven. And we live in Buffalo! Thanx for posting..."
"Very yum. Sauteed a small onion and mushrooms in a bit of oil first. A little parsley for color. Company-grade. Thanx chris_tam!"
"This is terrific! I've made marinara a thousand times but never with anchovy. Very subtle, no fishy taste. Used merlot wine as that's all I had on hand. Delish! Thanks for posting..."
"Wow, cheap, easy to prepare & very very tasty. I added 3 tspns minced garlic (bottled) and some marsala wine towards end. Crock pot for 4 hours on high. Gravy delicious, meat tender. Definite keeper. DH agreed with 5 stars. Thanx!"
